Ed is an experienced senior manager having broad experience in Board and organisational management, compliance and strategy. Originally from Newcastle NSW, Ed spent the early part of his career in the manufacturing and mining sectors in senior finance and analytical roles. For the past 20 years Ed has worked in the community sector with experience in criminal justice, disability, aged care, social housing and homelessness. Ed is currently the General Manager at South Port Day Links and prior to commencing in this role was the Chief Executive Officer of a large social housing and homelessness organisation.
Ed has a strong commercial background and a focus on social justice and supporting people to maintain engagement and live independently in the community. Ed has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle.
Ed enjoys time with the family including a growing number of grandchildren and is a keen golfer and cyclist. Ed enjoys travelling and experiencing new places and currently volunteers in the golf sector.
Ed joined the VTCTA Committee in August 2022.
