Rita was appointed to the VTCTA Committee in 2019 and has served in a number of positions including Deputy President, Secretary and Treasurer. Rita worked at Bridges Connecting Communities for seventeen years starting in the Transport Department progressing to the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2015. Rita’s business degree complemented the management of Bridges 12 staff and 260 volunteers and a fleet of seven vehicles. Rita has a passion and drive to supporting our senior members and is presently a member on the Knox Active Ageing Advisory Committee and Chairperson of a local dementia respite centre. Rita has held a variety of volunteer positions on boards and committees over the years and brings a rich experience in the Aged Care and Community Transport sector.
Rita is currently a VTCTA volunteer supporting the financial operations of the organisation.
