V/Line

V/Line is a passenger and freight train and a coach operator in Victoria. V/Line operates rail services to the regional cities of Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Seymour and Traralgon as well as Ararat, Maryborough, Echuca, Swan Hill, Albury, Bairnsdale, Warrnambool and Shepparton. In addition, V/Line road coaches connect with many rail services at major stations to serve towns away from the main rail network. V/line also runs numerous intrastate and interstate road coach services that may run wholly as a coach service or operate as a coach connecting with a rail service.

Transport Safety Victoria (TSV)

TSV is Victoria’s integrated safety regulator for bus, maritime and rail transport. As Victoria’s transport safety regulator, TSV core functions  are licences, registers and accredits operators and other industry participants, monitors the transport industry’s and participants’ systems for managing safety risks, monitors compliance with transport safety legislation and takes enforcement action as appropriate to promote safety outcomes in Victoria.

The CPVV is the regulator of the taxi and hire car industry as part of the Taxi Industry Inquiry initiated by the Victorian Government.
